Kiyoshi Shaw is a New York based costume designer who recently received his M.F.A. From the David Geffen School of Drama at Yale. He has most recently designed costumes for Natasha, Pierre & the Great Comet of 1812 directed by Nigel Maister at the Sloan Performing Arts Center, Lloyd Suh’s The Far Country directed by Ralph Peña at Yale Repertory Theater, Ibsen’s Ghosts directed by Jacob Basri at the Yale University Theater, and Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar directed by Garrett Allen at the Iseman Theater. He received his BFA in costume design and technology from Virginia Commonwealth University where he designed costumes for One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest. Other select credits include: Gypsy (Cost. Coordinator to Toni-Leslie James at The Majestic Theater), Fly (Ast. to Toni-Leslie James at Ford’s Theater).
