Annie G. Levy is a New York-based director and theatre maker whose work explores the intersection of myth, cognition, and history. Her directing has been presented at venues and festivals including HERE Arts Center, City Center, Dixon Place, The Tank, Irondale, and Boston’s Playwrights’ Theatre, as well as internationally at the Edinburgh Fringe, and in Rome, Syros (Greece), and Taipei, among others. She served as Artistic Director of Emerson Stage for five years and is a founding member of the international director’s collective World Wide Lab. She has taught at Emerson College, the University of Alabama, and Pace University, and has held guest faculty positions at The Cooper Union, Indiana University Bloomington, and Rider University.
